Intergrated Learning Plan

Our intergrated learning plan is titled 'Social, Economic and  Ecological Sustainablity'

The unit is aimed at 8-10

The unit is aimed at the current social, economic and environmental conditions.

 Rationale

The inquiry unit is design to analyse the economic, social and environmental sustainability of a selected case study.  Students will develop there understanding of the case study drawing on information they research. From their research students will evaluate the most significant features that impact on the natural environment in their case study. Students will be required to produce a model either using   a free modeling program 'Google SketchUp' or building a physical model. The model must display and explain ways how could the case study improve and/ or sustain its natural environment. Students will also be required to gather and interpret information on people’s views how the natural affected environment impacts on their life. On the completion of the above mention students will be asked to reflect on ones own learning and self awareness these case studies have for future generations.
