The workshops complement other course activities by providing practical opportunities for you to develop your ICT skills and knowledge. They also count as 5% towards your assessment as part of Assignment 2. At the beginning of the intensive teaching week, you will be provided with a list of tasks that must be completed before Tuesday, August 4th.

- Create Google Account and nickname (a version of your name)
- Create your Google Site on any subjects you like with minimum 3 pages, images, text. See Help page for details. Add bubbl.us chart (see below)
- Google Groups: Register, set up 'Nickname', make at least one comment.

1. Create a Bubbl.us mindmap about anything related to this ICT topic e.g. PMI of using ICT in education or a map of the important ideas in each core reading.
2. When complete, embedd your diagram into your wiki page and explain what it is about.

Marks for Workshop Tasks
- Up to 3 marks for making at least one comment in Groups, Starting your Site, adding a bubble.us diagram to your site.
- Up to 2 more marks (completed by Aug 18) of extra work on your site with more pages and more features, showing how you can use sites at a more advanced level.
