elizabeth.jpgHello my name is Elizabeth Marsh. I am currently studying my final year of Bachelor of Education (Junior Primary/Primary)/Bachelor of Arts. My major is Digital Media and my minor is History.

 

 

tracy.jpeg My name is Tracy Smyth, I am currently studying Bachelor of Education, Early Years and Bachelor of Arts at Flinders University. My major is Sociology and my minor is Health Promotion.  I will graduate midyear from university in 2011.

 

Our integrated learning plan is titled 'Why do we get up in the morning and go to bed at night?'.  This unit is aimed at Reception students. 

As the transition from kindergarten to the regimented routine of school can be difficult for students to manage this unit will help them to understand why routine is important and also give them ownership of their class routine by being involved in its creation.

There are four components to this integrated learning plan and these are stored accessible Google links.

Stage 1: Overview and Desired Results

This document identifies desired results, by looking at the inquiry overview, SACSA links, essential questions and the knowledge, understanding and skills that students will gain from this topic.

 

Stage 2a: Determine Acceptable Evidence

This document outlines the evidence that will determine the students understanding, knowledge and skills. 

 

Stage 2b: Assessment task (Quality Teaching)

This document looks at the assessment piece and includes a self-assessment using the quality teaching framework.

 

Stage 3: The Learning Plan

This document looks at the stages of students learning which will enable students to achieve the desired results.
